The light blinks green while it's waiting to pair, goes off once connected and flashes when you press a button. A blinking red light means it's time to charge. While charging, the light turns steady green when it's full.

How to pair
How to pair
1. Hold the big button until the light starts blinking green.
2. On your Kobo, tap More → Settings → Bluetooth Connection, turn Bluetooth on and select HBTR001-K.
3. The light goes off once it's connected. That's it — start reading.
It connects to one device at a time. To move it to another Kobo, turn off Bluetooth on the one it's connected to first.
Won't pair? Make sure your Kobo has Bluetooth (Clara 2E, Clara BW, Clara Colour, Libra 2, Libra Colour, Sage, Elipsa or Elipsa 2E) and its software is up to date. If it has lots of Bluetooth devices saved, remove the ones you don't use and try again.

Which Kobo eReaders does it work with?
Kobo eReaders with Bluetooth: Clara 2E, Clara BW, Clara Colour, Libra 2, Libra Colour, Sage, Elipsa and Elipsa 2E. Keep your Kobo's software up to date. Older Kobos without Bluetooth, such as Clara HD, Libra H2O, Forma or Nia, can't use it.
Does it work with Kindle?
No, this one is for Kobo only. For Kindle, see our Kindle page turners.
How do I pair it?
On your Kobo, tap More → Settings → Bluetooth Connection, turn Bluetooth on and select HBTR001-K. No apps needed.
Is the manual in English?
Not yet. Our first batch is the China-market version, so the box and printed manual are in Chinese. Full English setup steps are on each product page under "How to pair". An English version is coming soon.
Is this made by Kobo?
No. It's an independent accessory designed to work with Kobo eReaders.
